Last year, Surrey Fitness Club members supported and encouraged the Sri Lankan Family Charity Foundation to organise a Snowdon Charity Walk. The fundraising event took place on the 1st of May 2022 and was very successful; thank you very much for your generous donations.
The event raised £7328.81.
The Sri Lankan Family Charity used the raised funds to help two projects:-
1. Provided medical instruments worth LKR 2, 800, 000.00 to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka.
2. Provided Soxhlet Apparatus worth LKR 97,000.00 to the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Jaffna.
